Alberta Dancesport presents - The Tango Affair: Performance Team
Join Calgary's Ballroom Sweetheart and National Dancesport Judge, Diana Lefebvre and National Dancesport Judge, Ryan Anderson for The Tango Affair: Performance Team - a dynamic 11-week ballroom tango course designed for dancers looking to refine their technique, expand their figure repertoire and elevate their performance skills.
Drawing from both the International and American Style Tango syllabi, this course focuses on practical, leadable figures, improved partnering, musicality, footwork and the distinctive character of tango. Dancers will learn a variety of combinations and styling elements that can be used both socially and competitively while building confidence and floorcraft.
Throughout the 11 weeks, students will work toward a choreographed showcase routine, culminating in a performance at the Alberta Dancesport Christmas Showcase on December 11.
Whether your goal is to improve your dancing, challenge yourself with new material, or experience the excitement of performing, The Tango Affair: Performance Team offers a fun, supportive, and inspiring tango journey.
Intermediate dancers are welcome to register. Couples and singles are welcome, making this a great opportunity to develop your tango skills, meet fellow dancers, and enjoy the excitement of performing as part of a team.

You are cordially invited to step into a world of elegance and romance with this exclusive 11-week Ladies Performance Team led by Calgary's Ballroom Sweetheart and National Dancesport Judge, Diana Lefebvre. Inspired by the flowing beauty of the Viennese Waltz and the enchanting charm of Bridgerton, this performance experience blends timeless ballroom technique with expressive storytelling and artistry.
This unique performance experience focuses on refining ballroom technique, musicality, styling and expressive performance quality while exploring the elegance, softness and storytelling that make Waltz so captivating. Dancers will develop their artistry, confidence, and presence on the dance floor as they work together to create a beautiful and memorable performance.
